This week’s painting features the anticipation of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich in the making. A jar of peanut butter, a jar of jelly, and two thick slices of freshly baked bread sit next to a butter knife, illuminated by a soft and warm lighting that highlights only the subjects. The background contrasts with hints of textured deep turquoise and crimson in the shadows, creating a moody atmosphere.
