Goldfinch & Teapot

This week’s painting features an American Goldfinch perched on the handle of a white porcelain teapot. To the left, a couple of lemon wedges bring a bright pop of yellow that echoes the bird’s vibrant plumage. Soft light from the left casts gentle shadows, adding depth to the scene.
