This week’s painting captures the cozy warmth of a winter treat: a turquoise cup and saucer holding a steaming cup of hot cocoa. The drink is topped with a few fluffy marshmallows, while a couple of them rest casually on the table in the foreground… A gentle, broken light streams through a window on the right, softly illuminating the subjects and casting playful highlights and shadows while the background and foreground feature a subtle texture.
